Album Review : Delirium’s Dawn “Doomed To Collapse”
With Doomed
To Collapse, Delirium’s Dawn deliver one of the most consistent and
focused modern metalcore albums we’ve heard in a long time. Spanning 11
songs, the record feels carefully constructed from start to finish, with no
filler and a clear artistic vision running through every track. This is not the
first time we’ve listened to the Bavarian four-piece — at Lelahel Metal,
we reviewed their single “Out of Hades” two weeks ago — and once again,
the band confirms that their new direction is not only bold, but perfectly
aligned with their identity.
Musically,
Delirium’s Dawn sound harder, sharper and more atmospheric than ever.
Crushing riffs, driving grooves and massive breakdowns are balanced by
memorable melodies and strong hooks, giving the album both immediate impact and
long-term replay value. The songwriting is refined and confident, with dynamic
structures that avoid genre stagnation while staying firmly rooted in modern
metalcore.
The album’s conceptual flow adds another layer of depth. From the rebirth imagery of “Out of Hades” to the bleak finality of “It Ends Tonight,” Doomed To Collapse takes the listener on a dark journey through inner conflict, societal decay and inevitable downfall. Tracks like “Claiming Truth” and “The Vial” stand out for their emotional weight and relevance, while songs such as “Lupine Night” and “Oversaturated” showcase the band’s ability to blend aggression with atmosphere and melody.
What truly
sets this album apart is its consistency. Every song feels purposeful,
connected, and polished without losing its raw edge. Honestly, it’s been a long
time since we’ve heard a metalcore album this cohesive from beginning to end.
The fact that it was created 100% DIY only reinforces its authenticity
and impact.
With Doomed
To Collapse, Delirium’s Dawn don’t reinvent the genre, they refine it,
sharpen it, and make it unmistakably their own. A strong, convincing statement
and one of their most impressive releases to date.
