Single Review : Bite To Break "In Between"
Before
diving into "In Between", it's worth saying that this is
exactly the kind of band we love to review at Lelahel Metal. When a
group truly understands its musical identity, it makes the listening experience
even more rewarding. Bite To Break knows exactly what they are doing, and we
know exactly how to describe the energy they bring. Formed only recently, these
young Austrian musicians already sound confident, hungry, and full of
determination.
"In
Between" is a
powerful blend of metalcore, hardcore, death metal, and deathcore that
immediately grabs your attention. Crushing riffs, fast and punchy drumming,
aggressive vocals shifting effortlessly from deep growls to piercing screams,
and well-placed melodic passages create an exciting balance between brutality
and emotion. The lyrics explore the painful space between life and death, hope
and despair, giving the song a strong emotional backbone without sacrificing
intensity.
What impressed us most is that Bite To Break isn't afraid to take risks. Around the middle of the track, an unexpected blues-inspired guitar break appears, adding a refreshing twist that many modern bands would never dare attempt. Instead of simply copying established acts, they inject personality into their songwriting. The technical guitar work throughout the song is equally impressive, while the slower, catchy closing section leaves a lasting impact and is guaranteed to make listeners headbang.
