EP Review : WATCH ME DIE INSIDE “Infinity Fall III”
Having
already reviewed WATCH ME DIE INSIDE’s two previous singles, we were curious to
see how the project’s vision would evolve on Infinity Fall III. The
answer is simple: the band continues to push deeper into its unsettling
artistic identity, delivering a release that is both thought-provoking and
emotionally intense.
Rather than
offering comfort or easy catharsis, Infinity Fall III challenges
listeners to confront uncomfortable truths. The EP opens with “Uneasy,” a track
that blends atmospheric piano passages, cinematic textures, and modern metal
influences into a tense exploration of self-doubt and psychological unrest. The
transition from fragile melodies to heavier, industrial-inspired elements is
particularly effective.
“Boring” follows with a darker and more oppressive atmosphere. Despite its title, the song is anything but dull. It captures the suffocating repetition of routine through carefully constructed dynamics, building from introspective moments into powerful bursts of aggression that underline the track’s message.
The title
track serves as the EP’s emotional centerpiece. “Infinity Fall III” combines
intricate rhythms, expansive synth layers, and crushing metal passages to
create a feeling of endless descent. Its refusal to provide easy answers
perfectly reflects the band’s philosophy of confrontation over escape.
Production-wise,
the EP is polished and immersive, balancing cinematic ambience with heavy
modern metal energy. WATCH ME DIE INSIDE once again proves that they are not
interested in following trends. Instead, they continue crafting a distinctive
sonic world that rewards attentive listening and leaves a lasting impression
long after the final note fades.
