Single Review : Watch Me Die Inside “Infinity Fall II”

With “Infinity Fall II”, Watch Me Die Inside continue to carve their unsettling “Autopsy” concept into something both intense and strangely hypnotic. Despite its relatively short runtime—barely passing the two-and-a-half-minute mark if you exclude the brief keyboard intro—the track feels dense, almost overwhelming in its emotional and sonic scope.

It begins with a restrained, atmospheric keyboard passage that quietly sets the tone, hinting at something fragile yet controlled. But that illusion doesn’t last. What follows is a sharp dive into melodic metalcore, driven by powerful riffs and a clean, well-balanced production that immediately stands out. The band clearly knows what they’re doing stylistically, grounding the chaos in a defined sonic identity.

Then comes the surprise: sudden bursts of blast beats that inject an almost blackened intensity into the mix. At times, it feels like two different bands are colliding in the same space—but instead of clashing, it works. It’s bold, even risky, yet undeniably effective.

Midway through, the track pulls back just enough to let the listener breathe before plunging once again into its storm of melodies and relentless percussion. The closing moments soften unexpectedly, ending on a calmer note that contrasts with the internal turmoil explored throughout.

“Infinity Fall II” proves that modern metal thrives on fusion—when done right, boundaries don’t just blur, they disappear.
