Single Review : “Ashes” by RMNSKI

“Ashes” by RMNSKI is a fierce and tightly crafted metalcore strike, clocking in at under three minutes yet packing enough intensity to feel absolutely massive. Featuring Kuwait-based vocalist ABZY, the track channels raw emotional force through crushing riffs, sharp rhythmic shifts, and an atmosphere that oscillates between tension and release. It’s a collision of chaos and catharsis, driven by a thematic core that reflects on humanity’s self-destruction while clinging to a final spark of hope refusing to die.

One of the strongest aspects of “Ashes” is undeniably its production. Clean, precise, and perfectly representative of the genre, the mix by Jack Byrne and mastering by Arran Dutt give the track a polished edge without compromising its aggression. The guitars hit with clarity, the drums by RJTEMPO cut through with weight, and every element feels intentional and impactful.

Musicianship is another highlight. RMNSKI delivers tight, focused instrumentation, but ABZY’s vocals steal the spotlight—his screams are sharp and controlled, while his clean vocals add emotional depth and contrast. The performance is powerful and immersive.

While “Ashes” doesn’t reinvent metalcore, it doesn’t need to. It is well-executed, confident, and energetic enough to leave listeners wanting more from this project.

It’s not the first time we’ve reviewed a band from this region, and honestly, the progress is impressive. The level is rising quickly, and it won’t be long before artists here stand alongside major American and European acts. Truly excellent work.
