Ethernomorphia, a one-man project born from struggle and rage, channels raw emotion into brutal soundscapes. With Prophet of Inner Hell, he confronts inner darkness, addiction, and defiance through unfiltered extreme metal.
I was struggling with addiction, and depression. I wanted to do something with my life, and my musical talent. I wanted to express my rage through music, and I wanted to share a message with this album. I've been working on this album since 2024, and that was a really bad time for me. You can really hear the rage, agony and the alcohol abuse on most of the songs.
2. Your debut album Prophet of Inner Hell has just been released. What was
the main concept or message you wanted to convey through this record?
The main concept was to give in 100% of me, and make an album what crosses
lines. I wanted to make the exact opposite of what people nowadays expect.
(Also couple of songs hide secret messages)
The message with this album, is wake up the religious people and show them that
real life is dark, and full of agony.
3. As a
solo project, you handle every aspect of the music. How do you approach the
songwriting and production process—does it all start with riffs, atmosphere, or
lyrical ideas?
I usually write the lyrics first, then the drumbeat ideas come to mind. That's
the first I always record, the guitars, the vocals, the bass always come after.
4. The
album blends elements of death metal and deathcore with a distinct
psychological edge. What were your main influences, both musically and
thematically, when shaping the sound of Ethernomorphia?
I always liked heavy brutal stuff since I was a kid. I never liked emo music, or punk music, I always wanted something more serious. When I started to record my first ever song in blackened, experimental style, I never wanted to change a thing about my taste and my sound.
5. The title Prophet of Inner Hell suggests a deep exploration of inner
darkness. Can you tell us more about the lyrical themes and the emotions
driving the album?
The lyrics were always coming from the bottom of my heart. The lyrics of my
songs are about 3 topics. in order, 1. Depression: "Feel til you can't
feel" "show your real self to no one". 2. Rejecting god:
"prove to me that believing is a start of a mass killing" 3. Blashpemy:
"come here I will kill your god"
6. Being
a one-man band can be both liberating and challenging. What are the biggest
advantages and difficulties you face working alone in this kind of extreme
music?
The difficulties are, I have to do everything alone, I feel lonely most of the times, I cannot go on tours and perform on live events. The advantages are, I can follow my own mind, and it takes less time to finish a song.
I want
Ethernomorphia to be heard. I want it to become a band with atleast 5 members,
and I want to be the main vocalist. I really would like to perform on stages
with my future band mates to my people who i love the most. Metalheads.
8. Finally, for listeners diving into Prophet of Inner Hell for the first
time, what kind of experience or feeling do you hope they take away from the
album?
I would like them to feel liberated, I want them to express their anger through my music, because I do this not only for myself. I will never dissapoint my true fans in the future. One last message for all of you who are reading this. If you are struggling, if you feel alone, and have mental health issues, you can always talk to someone. You're never alone, and trust me even if right now you dont feel it, even if you can't see it yet, you will be okay in the end. Everything will fall into place, and you won't wake up every morning with regret anymore. Because I know that you can survive anything.
